Cultural City Governance

“A shared and integrated governance system”for Cheongju, citizens-centered cultural city.”

1. Cultural City Citizen Members

  • Participants : 20 Cheongju citizens
  • Agenda : Suggest agenda for individual projects, hold citizens’meetings at the sites of events, monitor projects

2. Cultural City Working Groups

  • Participants : 2 youth groups, 2 artists’groups (Each group (team) works with 5 other groups. A total of 20 groups are involved)
  • Agenda : Plan and implement competence enhancement workshops and cultural projects aimed at resolving issues

3. Cultural City Membership

  • Summary : Cultural City membership is a community launched in 2016 & a citizens’brand that represents the region.
  • Target members : anyone interested in regional culture
  • Agenda : share news on regional cultural activities (once a week), free admission to festivals and events
